Insurance broker Britton Gallagher & Associates has acquired Beckman Insurance Agency as part of its growth plan in the amusement industry.

Through the transition period, the business will continue to operate under the name Beckman Insurance Agency.

Beckman Insurance Agency, which has been writing amusement insurance for 28 years, was formed in 1984 by partners Michael Beckman and John Beckman.

Britton Gallagher vice president and program manager of amusement insurance program Drew Tewksbury said, "This purchase clearly demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the industry (amusement)."

Britton Gallagher specializes in commercial and personal insurance, employee benefits consulting, and financial planning.

The company owns and operates Amusement Insurance Resources, a specialty insurance program focused on the amusement industry.
