[Character] The product is a white needle crystal or powder. SP. GR. 2.882-3.13g/ cm3, sublimation temp. 1272℃.It’s slightly soluble in water and greatly soluble in HF liquid. The chemical property for the high density aluminum fluoride is very steady, but that contains certain crystal water will be decomposed into Al2O3 at high temperature with HF being released.
[Uses] It’s mainly used as an adjusting agent for electrolyte in aluminum smelting by fused salt electrolysis, also in ceramic glaze, catalyst and flux of nonferrous metal metallurgy etc.
[Packing] In plastic coating woven bags or woven bags with plastic film inside, 40kgs, 50kgs,or 1000kgs net each, or as per requirement of clients.
